
Named for the last known Beothuk, the Mary March Provincial Museum depicts native-Newfoundland and Labrador history, and tells the story of why the museum is named after the last known member of that culture. The museum also features exbihits on the paper industry in Grand Falls-Windsor, where visitors can learn how a town and an industry grew around one of the world's largest paper mills. Visitors can also meet 6000 years of pioneering people in the central area of Newfoundland, who made their living off of fishing, hunting, mining and logging. Temporary exhibits also features treasures from collections from around the world, and programs for all ages and inclinations.
